My style has actually been pretty stable... I guess the most notable thing is how my fashion sense has gone from lazy-college-student to fashion-inept-professional. A PROFOUND shift, let me tell you. <_<

I've done this every year since 2007 (whaaat?) That makes this my fifth anniversary of doing hourlies! That seems a bit excessive.

I haven't forgotten you, I still read you every day, believe it or not.

Basically I have been head down, working like crazy for the past significant number of weeks. Every moment, something else to work on. Relaxation on in case of stress-emergencies. It hasn't been entirely pleasant, nor has it been entirely un-pleasant.

I've been working with book-designer-extraordinaire Jeff Ellis putting on all the finishing touches, communicating with printers and somesuch. I have an ISBN and everything! Kind of shocked how smoothly everything has gone so far! I'm sure something catastrophic will happen.

Welp, back to work.

I promised in my last post that I'd talk more about the "night scene". Well taking pictures is kind of hard, but we took a few videos which give a better impression of what was going on:

Notes:
- First clip is from inside the Aboriginal Pavilion. The inside of the dome has a light show projected on it, and the outside of the dome had a projection of what was inside! (whoa!)
- Second clip is the nightly fire show on Robson.
- Third clip: Said the Whale! One of our favourite local groups performing in Robson Square.
- Fourth clip: watching the first US v. Canada game in Ontario House (clips are from when we scored but, ah, we lost ^^;
- Ends with Said the Whale


On the last Thursday we finally won something again, and the crowds started coming back, despite the rain.

As you may know, I live in downtown Vancouver! I have finished recording my thoughts about the Olympics, but they are too long for one post. So ONE MORE POST after this and then I will just quit livejournal and you will never hear from me again. *whew*
